How Does It Work?

If you’re looking for a unique, original and handmade birth announcement card, you’ve come to the right place!

At Pencookies no card is the same. Most of them have details that hold special value to the parents (to be).

Do you already have ideas about how your card should look like? Great, let me hear it. Or maybe you like

something you’ve seen on my website? Even if you have no clue yet, I can sketch and email you some suggestions

and include elements of your liking. Next to the main illustration on the front of the card, I usually make a

(smaller) drawing on the back as well.

I make the illustrations with pen and pencil. According to your wishes, I can also color them with pencil.

After approval, I will send you the final illustration in high resolution. The printing firm of your choice can

use the illustration to make and print the birth announcement card. With them you’ll agree on the font, type of

paper, size of the card, envelopes et cetera. To avoid confusion: I design and draw the illustration, the printing

firm of your choice should do the rest.

Prices depend on the card of your choice, on average around 100 Euros. Maybe you would like a variation on one

of the existing illustrations or perhaps you have a totally different idea in mind. If you have
